New Balance 990V2 Black True Camo 26cm, New Balance‘s performance-runner is reimagined with Stone Island’s renowned high-quality. Seemingly inspired by a shared “understated innovation” red between the New Balance Tokyo Design Studio and Stone Island Product Research teams, the FullCell-cushioned sneaker predominantly indulges in an off-white color palette. Red branding introduces stark red contrast into the mix, with the boldest statement arriving in the form of each brands’ logos on a respective toe box, made visible by the upper’s exposed layering. Reminiscent of the Get New Balance 550 Sea Black BB550LM1 “Refined Future” capsule that landed in August, the mixed-materials build across the pair’s top-half is stylized as “worn-and-torn” without sacrificing any performance benefits.
