Throughout 2021, the Nike Dunk Low has displayed a penchant for nostalgia, reprising some of yesteryear’s most iconic styles. Yet, Peter Moore’s 36-year-old design has also carved out a space for experimental arrangements, with the latest arriving as a kid’s-exclusive.
Akin to a previously-seen nike oregon project running shoes for women cheap, the upcoming sneakers boast non-standard profile swooshes. While the logo’s shape remains recognizable, it indulges in a 3D styling, ostensibly nodding to schematic sketches or the digital renderings needed to bring Carolyn Davidson’s iconic creation into the metaverse. Branding on the tongue label and upper heel panel borrow the aforementioned logo’s vibrant orange tone, and are surrounding by understated white and grey paneling. Tumbled leather and grid-patterned nylon divvy up the low-top Nike Dunk‘s upper, introducing further experimentation to the model’s storied catalog.
