Jovani Hernandez Copenhagen-based NAKED and New Balance aren’t strangers to one another, having previously collaborated on a 991. For their next joint-effort, both institutions have looked to the creative communities that inspire them, producing special editions of the 725 and 1080v11 as a result.
Honoring a diverse roster of models, photographers and other creatives, the “Community” Pack’s campaign styles these members in “Sea Salt”-heavy sneakers. Although the collection’s campaign imagery delivers lifestyle shots, both silhouettes are rooted in performance-running D.N.A., with the Fresh Foam-cushioned 1080v11 being a current sportswear option from the Boston-based brand. “UV Glow” and “Cream” accents further animate NAKED’s latest new balance sustainable, the former tone making an appearance on the archival 2000s running-inspired 725 model. Each style delivers breathable mesh uppers, signature “N”-branding and a comfortable sole unit for moving around between each community one inhabits.
