Dee Brown’s role in the Reebok Pump craze is immeasurable. While he was never the All-Star level player that dominated the 1990s era of basketball footwear, few moments can live up to his Dunk Contest in 1991 where he pumped up his shoes before sealing the deal on his trophy-winning performance. It was certainly a “eureka” moment in the world of marketing, which explains why Pump footwear is still Fossil today (and we interviewed Dee Brown Whie Reebok Rubber Gum-01 release).
Later this year, Reebok will be dropping a “Celtics” colorway of the Omni Zone II; it’s similar to the release/white pair Brown wore during that contest, but these feature a third accent color of lucky Celtics green on the mesh underlay, the lace eyelets, and interior lining. Further commemorating the significance of this model are the special insoles that feature a parquet floor pattern – a nod to the Boston Garden hardwood.
This Reebok Yate Swim Shorts Mens is expected to release later this year at Reebok.com and partnering retailers.
