Now one of the most significant social hubs in existence — especially with the pandemic keeping people indoors — Discord is soon to receive their sneakers first collaborative sneaker thanks to Collegium, an Orange County based outfit known for their use of premium materials.
The collaboration builds atop the orange brand’s signature Pillar Destroy High, applying a colorway inspired by the Discord mascot Wumpus. Alongside hits of dark and light grey suede, the upper is accented with touches of purple in nod to the character’s fur. Its green leaf is also represented by way of the heel tab, which is easy to miss much like the logo debossed into the heel. What’s more, the bright yellow insole features Clyde, another popular mascot, and the company’s “Imagine a Place” tagline.
