And while the industry has caught up to the duo over the last five years, Scott and the Three Stripes continue to captivate old and new enthusiasts alike with handfuls of adidas Originals propositions.

For the latest entry into the pair’s roster of collaborations, the American designer and German sportswear institution have applied an eye-catching blue gradient finish to another adidas batman gold and grey color scheme. Rich leather construction takes over much of the silhouette, as has been the cade across most of Scott’s joint-efforts with the brand, with pink, turquoise and phone of green playing supporting roles for the aforementioned blue hue. Profile 3-Stripes indulge in a spring-appropriate rose tones while leather overlays around the lower heel and the stability-providing structure right below it opt for near-fluorescent hits of green. Wings components – which face towards the toe box – keep things predominantly blue and black, with nearby trefoil-branding and heren straps donning contrasting colors. Underfoot, J.S. and his partner cover the made-for-basketball sole unit almost entirely in black, allowing for the upper to revel that much more in the spotlight.
