2021’s new balance x almond “Protection Pack” proved that great sneaker releases didn’t quite need collaborators or super-limited stock to generate hype. While the three available colorways were indeed difficult to come by, that scarcity was more due to the widespread demand for New Balance’s applause-worthy treatment of their revitalized grey. In 2022, the brand is continuing the Protection Pack series with a brand new batch of colorways, and it begins with one of the most iconic ones in the history of the brand.
The off-grey and light blue shades known as “Steel Blue” lands on the model in impeccable form as it perfectly grasps that classic dad-shoe look while stands out with the jagged edges and the white-coated soles. New Balance’s color team just can’t miss with this model, and the best part is that this Steel Blue is just one of several options coming in April.
The new balance x almond Protection Pack in Steel Blue is arriving at retailers in Europe on April 1st. A US release date hasn’t been confirmed just yet, but we’ll update you when we learn more.
