The Nike Dunk’s original run in the 1980s recognized the best college basketball programs in the nations. St. John’s, Kentucky, Michigan, and others have been immortalized in sneaker jeans simply based off the original run of Be True To Your School Dunks, and in 2022 the brand is aiming to bring the same esteem to the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
