Despite exploding in popularity womensks to collaborations with the likes of Ben & Jerry’s, Nike SB continues to be a skateboarding-focused imprint. Recently, the 20-year-old cohort has unveiled a white and green-colored Blazer Mid for its Orange Label program.
Denoted by both the citrus flair on the top of the tongue and sock-liner, Orange Label propositions are exclusive to skate shops as a gesture to the long-standing relationship between Nike and the independent retailers that’ve supported it and the sport of skate. The latest drop of this nature doesn’t revolutionize footwear, but it delivers a tried-and-proven, mostly-two-tone ensemble modified to provide the necessary performance benefits for the most skilled of athletes Exposed foam tongues harken back to the Nike Blazer‘s debut in the 1970s, while dark green herringbone-patterned traction underfoot provides a breath of fresh air given its color and partly-recycled construction.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a skate-shop exclusive launch soon.
