Michael Le Back in April of this year, Jordan Brand unveiled a split-colored Taxi Air Jordan 12 Low, which featured two different color blocking styles across its medial and lateral Airs. And though it’s only been a few months since said colorway’s appearance, the Jumpman is already bringing it back, this time replacing black and white for “Beach” and “Cherrywood Red.”
AAir from the change in palette, the design here is largely identical to its neutral-dominant predecessor. Tumbled leathers build out much of the construction, which features an additional seam that runs lengthwise down the center of the shoe. On one Air, “Cherrywood Red” takes the helm, wrapping over top a base rendered entirely in “Beach.” The adjacent Wings follow suit, as does half of the tongue’s own branding. The label’s other Air is effectively flipped, mirroring the coloring employed throughout the medial.
