Jordan Brand’s steady mix of modern colorway creations and re-issues of past classics continues as 2006’s Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High 30th Anniversary Laser 26cm “Olive” is set to release again on March 9th, 2024.
A first look at the upcoming release arrives in rather timely fashion as a fellow Class Of 2006 release — the Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High 30th Anniversary Laser 26cm “Burgundy” — is set for a global drop on August 29th, 2023.
Both the Burgundy and Olive 5s arrived during the Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High 30th Anniversary Laser 26cm’s first major retro movement as several colorways were presented to Jordan fanatics as part of a “LS” (or Lifestyle) tier of releases. The Olives were particularly popular at the time given its close proximity to the Undefeated Air Jordan 4, which to this day remains as one of the greatest collaborations in sneaker history.
The upcoming 2024 Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High 30th Anniversary Laser 26cm “Olive” features the same textured suede uppers and orange interior lining to capture that “Flight Jacket” aesthetic championed by Undefeated, although these have no official connection to the boutique.
A release isn’t scheduled until March 9th, 2024, so stay tuned for further updates, unboxings, and potential release date changes as we close out 2023. Full family sizes are confirmed to drop.
