It hasn’t been very long since the debut of the New Balance 2002 Green via FD, and yet we’re already catching wind of one of its very first collaborations. Predating a likely Marathon with Teddy Santis’ Aimé Leon Dore, the footwear brand’s newest flagship will be teaming up with chef-turned-rapper Action Bronson, who has dressed the sneaker in its brightest colorway yet.
Previously teased between the ropes of an AEW ring, the Action Bronson x New Balance 2002 Green via FD rarely repeats the same color. Save for the mesh base — which displays a bright, neon green from the toe through to the heel — the palette is comprised several different tones, such as light browns, deep greens, various shades of blue, the occasional neutral, and much more. The artist has also swapped out the shoe’s key logos: across the tongue, the branding now reads “baklava’ rather than “New Balance,” referencing one of Bronsoliño’s many nicknames.
