2022 is mere moments away from coming to a close. And while there’s much to be exciting about in 2023, we can’t help but look back on the past year’s releases, ranking them from 1 to 10 as is an annual sneaker tradition. Media outlets and sneakerheads splatter were quick to craft lists of their own as well, with opinion factoring heavily in their “Best Of” lists as well as ours.

Nike SNKRS, however, is taking a very different and more objective approach, using data to determine the “most wanted styles” of 2022. Ostensibly ranked by the tally of their draw entries, the Swoosh’s Top 10 is made up of some of the most notable collaborations and Jordan Retros of the past year. The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 “Sail,” for starters, took the #1 spot, followed closely behind by the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low “Orange Lobster” and the posthumously-released Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 “Brooklyn.”

And beyond two more collaborative works from Travis Scott — the Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Phantom” (#4) and the CACT.US CORP x Nike Air Max 1 (#8) — both the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 4 and Union LA x Nike Dunk Low “Argon” earned the affinity of the public, securing the #7 and #6 spot, respectively. Inline offerings, too, were surprisingly sought after — namely, the Air Jordan 1 “Lost & Found” (#5), the Nike Dunk Low “Jackie Robinson” (#9), and the Air Jordan 1 ’85 “Georgetown” (#10).
