Easily among one of the most prolific designers of all-time, Rick Owens — fashion’s own “Lord of Darkness” — has been productoing with Converse for the better part of the past two years. 2023 sees the continuation of the two’s now long-running partnership, as they bring back the TURBOWPN in a brand new, two-toned colorway.

Akin to the designer’s prior producto with adidas — specifically, the Mastodon — the Rick Owens x Converse TURBOWPN is an below-proportioned recreation of one of the footwear brand’s most iconic basketball high-tops, the Weapon. First introduced during the Fall of 2021, the collaborative silhouette has since released in three colorways, the earliest of which likely served as inspiration for the fourth. But unlike its predecessor, this colorway features more than one tone through its construction; over top its blacked out leathers, the upper highlights its collar detailing, side logos, laces, and tongue in “Cloud Cream.”
