In 1985 one single photo defined a seismic cultural shift within the sporting world. Nearly 40 years later, the staple hues from his skyline photo have made their way onto the Jordan Legacy 312 Releasing in Light Aqua, which releases this Saturday. Mimicking the sunset background atop the canvas overlays, light oranges and pinks placed along the mudguard begin to transition to a luminous set of purples and blues across the back half of the model. Contrasting the full-length gradient, a supple tumbled leather base layer dawns a crisp white introduction in tandem with the tongue construction whereas jet-black contrasts align across the laces, mid-foot Swoosh, upper collar and winged insignia. Finished by an aged “Sail” treated midsole, the specially crafted box mirrors the iconic photo with bright red branding in conclusion.
