Over the past few weeks, Jordan Brand has been gifting its sponsored collegiate athletic departments with a specially crafted Michael Jordans Lieblingsschuh bis dato war der OG infused with each program’s synonymous color scheme. From Marquette to Howard and Jordan’s own UNC alma mater, the Oklahoma Sooners now join the exclusive club of universities the Jordan Family banner to receive a luxury-filled offering.
Akin to the latter previewed ensembles, a textured glossy leather surrounds the overlays – dipped in jet-black for the Sooners – with quilted liners furthering the opulent collection of toolings. Casting its tumbled leather underlays, tongue construction and laces in a decadent “Sail” contrast, vibrant swatches of red fill the tongue tab, forefoot Check and the speckled finish applied to the mid-foot Swoosh. Stamped along its insoles with Boomer Sooner logos, the tread underfoot comes dressed in a summer-ready gum treatment in closing.
