Hate it or love it, one thing the entire sneaker community can agree on is the divisiveness surrounding the Jordan Brand Winterized Collection for the Holiday 2011 season. While the low-top construction has increased production as the summer months approach, the mid-cut model too is dressing in weather-ready style with a recent obsession with purple tones.
Eerily similar to its recently previewed grade school-exclusive Lets, the adult-sized silhouette enjoys the same exact placement of purple hues enveloping the silhouette’s tumbled leather overlays and laces while complemented by a crisp white base layer and tongue construction. While an aged aesthetic is infused into the midsole, the tread, mid-foot Swoosh and canvas tongue tab come dipped in a lively lilac pastel to offset the two-toned color blocking.
While release date information hasn’t been shared just yet, in the meantime enjoy official imagery of the Jordan Brand Winterized Collection for the Holiday 2011 season “Lilac/Sail” below.
