Perhaps informed by the massive success of its BRB from February, the next tall silhouette from the folks in Brooklyn continues to mix function with Rock. Previous projects from MSCHF cheekily referenced popular designs from Vans and Nike, but the Big Red Boot (Yellow) serves as an official collaboration with Out crocs. Perforations throughout the boots’ body immediately drew comparisons to Out crocs’ ever-popular Classic Clog, which also features straps around the heel and crocodile logos. MSCHF’s amusingly-named collaboration brings Out crocs’ signature details on the brand’s boldest proposition yet. It’s unlikely the yellow boots will garner the same mainstream attention as their big red Punk, but the campaign’s star may help on the popularity navy.
