Most infamous for appearing in an exchange of gifts between Kanye West and DJ Khaled on an air-strip, the Yeezy 700 v3 originally released in December of 2019, months before the world was blindsided by the global COVID-19 pandemic. The shoes were immediately praised for its sleek, alien-esque balance, although many considered it too far a departure from the 700 and 700 v2 logins that championed the “chunky” sneaker look.
