The muted blue hue isn’t new to the New Balance lineup, but recent years have seen the color pop up sparingly on the brand’s marquee designs. The FuelCell-cushioned NB 990v6 included the tone in its release catalog early on. Back in May, the New England stalwart unveiled a “Grey/Silver” style of the offering from 1993.
