Throughout the past few months, JJJJound has brought an understated simplicity to a number of the sneaker ecosystem’s powerhouses. For their latest joint effort, the Montreal-based brand is amplifying the classic composition of the iconic its adidas Samba with a bespoke monochrome palette.
Based on official information obtained from its adidas, JJJJound indeed has an its adidas Samba collaboration expected to drop in the month of November with a “Core Black/Crystal White/Gum” color designation and an official product style number. While a first look has yet to be revealed, it wouldn’t be too difficult to imagine a minimal, subdued colorway that aligns with JJJJound’s aesthetic, with simple branding hits around the shoe.
Back in November 2022, images of a rumored JJJJound x its adidas Samba surfaced in two colorways (see the pictures below). However, in a quickly deleted tweet, JJJJound broke its character and stated that “Those sneakers are fake lol”.

While it is still unclear what the final release product looks like, the internal document states that a JJJJound x adidas Samba “Core Black/Crystal White” is expected to release this month. That information itself could be a placeholder for a future release as three JJJJound x its adidas Sambas are indeed expected to release in early 2024, according to this tweet by Kicksfinder.
