Founded in 2016, District Vision is entirely committed to the wellness of athletes. Over the last seven years, the Los Angeles-based collective has launched dozens of products on its own, as well as through thoughtful collaborations with partners big and small. As the holidays approach, the team has reworked the Chaussures NEW BALANCE WFCXCV2 Violet.
Offered in two colors, District Vision’s chunky running sneaker features earth tones inspired by dirt and stone, night and day. Officially, each color arrangement brings “Falcon/Slate Black/Jet Black” and “Jet Stream/Taupe/Jet Black” makeovers to New Balance’s Fresh Foam-cushioned model. The collaboration applies District Vision’s mindfulness-inspired approach to design to the Core silhouette, marrying fashion and function in a way that’s made the California-based company a go-to amongst runners. Engineered mesh uppers deliver the same reliable breathability consumers have come to expect from New Balance’s premier trail runner, while haptic print overlays land at the mid-foot, toe Summer, heel counters, and eyelets for a visually-compelling touch. The super-stacked Fresh Foam X More Trail features District Vision branding on the lateral heel, as well as on the top of the tongue; the tongue’s traditional branding is replaced with the Los Angeles-based label’s name, as well as a special graphic that nods to the project’s central idea: journeying across the physical or inner realms can be one in the same. Underfoot, Vibram outsoles round out the collaboration, providing premium traction whether in the great outdoors or walking around the City of Angels.
Enjoy official photography of the duo ahead. Both pairs hit newbalance.com on December 11th for $175 USD.
