Primarily used on the global launch of the Air Jordan 20, the laser-etched pattern acted as an illustrative mosaic of Michael Jordan’s legacy in the game of basketball and the history of sneakers. The Jordan x Quai 54 was chosen as the vehicle on the Retro front, arriving in the OG-inspired “Fire Red” and a second that remixed the classic Chicago colors.
The key difference between this Jordan x Quai 54 sample and the two made-for-retail versions is the thicker laser-etching that we’ve seen in in the Mark Smith Laser Air Force 1s and even the Entourage pairs. Alongside the shoes is a custom shoe-box and tissue to match, made just for Michael Jordan, former Nike CEO Mark Parker, and Mark Smith himself.
