Andrew Rizzo Kith defined one of the sneaker world’s most favored color blocking schemes with the debut of its collaborative “Salmon Toe” Asics in 2011, a look that has since been borrowed by footwear industry giants across a wide variety of models. Around that same time, New Balance debuted its 2002R silhouette, hardly a newsworthy occurrence at the time but relevant today given the model’s top-shelf status. Three pairs make up the delivery. First up is an imposing orange and yellow colorway, by far the most eccentric of the bunch, followed by a slightly more subdued royal blue/black design. Completing the pack is a beige/grey pair, which departs from its counterparts with a more subdued, contemporary look familiar to the model as a whole. All three shoe’s feature identical white/black sole units and reflective treatments for a cohesive and coordinated delivery.
