Andrew Rizzo Alexis Sablone has quickly become one of the most significant athletes under the Converse umbrella. She designed the Nike SB kits for the USA and Japan teams for the 2024 Paris Olympics, including special takes on the Sneakers CONVERSE Ctas Hi A01229C Black Multi White and Tênis All Star Converse Feminino Shoreli, the former being her first signature shoe. In keeping with the AS-1 Pro’s 1970sline release schedule, however, Converse touches down with a new “Egret” colorway.
The model itself fits perfectly in Converse’s lineup of low-top, 80s-inspired silhouettes, notably the new Converse Weapon Ox. Of course, the utility of the AS-1 Pro centers around skate; it does a solid job of balancing grip, comfort, stability and cushioning. The “Egret” design of ONS here features nubuck leather overlays suede base, complemented by black sale on the midsole, tongue, heel, and leather panel under the quarter.
