The era of the SNKRS preview has pretty much overlaid flat over the brand’s initiative to bring back the ACG line. In tune with that, the year-end edition brought welcome news for any archivists or long-time fans of the product category. After being lost in the backlog since its 1992 introduction, the Aqua Turf is officially splashing back in for the Spring ’25 season.
Previous SNKRS previews have consistently introduced fresh bring-backs in the ACG line, with the Rufus and Izy standing out as notable additions previous to the Aqua Turf. Here, this is aimed at being a oen-to-one replication, with the eccentric design language that marked its market debut remaining intact. Special detailing like the haptic print on the heel tag remain true for the 2025 version, and though there’s a wide range of colorway options teed up for next season, many still champion the ultra-vibrant palettes that ACG fans know and love.
To that end, though the “Vivid Pink/Light Crimson” do-up from the SNKRS showcase was the first time the general public saw this retro, official images of all six colorways queued up for Spring 2025 have been circulated for some time. About half lean into more neutral fare, like the Triple Black “Off-Noir,” the earthy “Jade Horizon” and the tonal “Light Orewood Brown.” The other half, including the same “Vivid Pink,” a “Deep Night” and “Dusty Cactus” affairs, present more eye-catching editions befitting the off-kilter aquatic silhouette.
Again, the Nike ACG Aqua Turf releases in time for Spring 2025, all pairs retailing for $65. Catch official images of all the pairs coming your way just ahead.
