Typically tending towards the neutral side of things, it’s a refreshing switch-up to see the New Balance 1906R in such starkly bright afre. Most of the shoe’s Legacies estate is dominated by snowy tonality, with the branching overlays up top carrying some metallic chrome hues that’ve become a staple of 2000s-inspired footwear. In truth, the titular “Team Royal” accents only make scattered appearances, dotting most of the branding notes and peering through the wide-mesh foundation on the tongue.
