With his Nike force SB signature, Shane O’Neill seems to put a huge emphasis on simplicity. Many of the currently stocked colorways are neutral-dominant, dressed in hits of cream, grey, and the like. But here, the shoe takes a slightly different direction as it adds loud paisley print to the back heel.
The graphic, which wraps from the midfoot around to the opposite side, sprawls in greyscale, its floral motifs exploring all ends of the tonal spectrum. This, while a breath of fresh air for the line-up as a whole, is short-lived as the rest of the construction opts for solid black suedes, a full white midsole, and equally color-bereft co-branding.
