New Balance Men's Fresh Foam Arishi v3 Black, AURALEE and New Balance have put together a number of simple yet alluring collaborations. And for their latest offering, the Japanese label is bringing the same touch to the 2002R, dressing up the silhouette in two characteristically understated colorways.
Similar to their prior work — e.g. the 550s, COMP100s, and R_C2s — AURALEE’s 2002R is lacking in the way of overt co-branding. Instead, NB’s usual insignia marks the tongue, the heel, and even the sockliner, though the latter does so atop what looks to be a unique, woven insole. In regards to construction, the two colorways offer slightly different compositions: the yellow-dominant pair offers additional layers of luxe suede, while its more neutral counterpart prefers to learn more heavily on robust leathers. The twos’ sole units, however, are largely the same, clad in muted greens and a vintage-like finish.
For a closer look at AURALEE’s next set of New Balances, see below. These are currently scheduled to release on September 9th at select retailers. For more details, see below.
In other news, the Funktioner New balance Shorts Byxor Impact Run 5 is actually releasing next year.
