Michael Le Though first brought to life by way of a crossover between Snow Peak and New Balance, the Niobium Concept 2 has since become a part of the footwear brand’s inline catalog. And following the release of several GR colorways, the two-way silhouette is now joining forces with another renowned name in Japanese fashion: atmos x Staple x New Balance X-Racer Black.
Spotted on the runway alongside the label’s SS23 collection, the atmos x Staple x New Balance X-Racer Black x New Balance Niobium Concept 2 is understated much like the designer’s previous collaborative efforts. From the Vibram sole to the leather and suede constructed Kamizelka, the shoe indulges almost entirely in black, with seldom hits of silver metallic applied to the toe box, vamp, and heel. What’s more, the NB and Vibram logos add even further contrast, highlighted in white and yellow, respectively.
