Michael Le Back in 2021, BRICKS & WOOD caught the attention of New Balance, who approached Kacey Lynch and team with the opportunity to design their own 57/40. Fast forward almost two years later and the LA-based label is rejoining the footwear brand for yet another collaborative release, this time highlighting the 9060.
Compared to their last joint effort, the BRICKS & WOOD x New Balance Femme Fresh Foam X Hierro v7 GTX en Bleu Vert Jaune is far more subdued in its colorway, with light creams applied to much of the shoe’s construction — e.g. the midsole, fuzzy laces, and suede overlays. Underneath, shades of grey highlight the mesh inserts, while bright touches of green accent the sole as well as the “BRICKS & WOOD” branded, camo-adorned insole.
