It’s finally time to say goodbye to 2022 — and while we’ve enjoyed many a release over the course of the past year, there’s plenty more awaiting us in 2023. But before the curtains officially begin to close, there are a few sneakers we still need to get out of the way.
This week, every sneaker brand seems to be slowing things down to a crawl, taking a much-needed break ahead of New Years Day. Starting us off is none other than New Balance and the 990v3, the latter of which is scheduled to drop in its latest Teddy Santis-directed colorway. Nike ISPA is coming out the woodwork, too, with the Sense Flyknit, which is releasing in two colorful styles. Jordan Brand, then, quickly steals the spotlight, ushering in the long-awaited return of the Air Jordan 2 “Chicago.” And finally, the Three Stripes closes us out and simultaneously kicks off 2023 with classic renditions of the UltraBOOST 1.0.
For a links to and details on all of the above, look ahead at the best releases from December 26 to January 1st.
