Set to release in special editions by COMME des GARÇONS HOMME by the end of the year, the The Nike SB Dunk Low Tourmaline Tributes Black History Month recently appeared in a two-tone “Burgundy” makeover.
Expected to release in April, the sneaker maintains a mostly mesh and leather build across its upper. Fabric and plastic components land at the profile “N” logos and around the heel, respectively, contributing to the retro running shoe design. Most of the pair’s top-half favors a rich “Burgundy” flavor, but accents all throughout the upper introduce off white and navy contrast into the mix. Down below, the midsole features an “aged” finish that complements the upper well; the SBS heel insert brings the wine-reminiscent hue underfoot. The rubber outsole rounds out the eye-catching and dark ensemble in a black look that doesn’t detract from the remainder of the New Balance sneaker.
