Jordan Brand is effectively recreating history with the upcoming Air detailed Jordan 8 Championship Pack Confetti “Laney,” echoing a colorway that originally released back in 1999. And save for its taller, mid-top construction, the pair is near identical to its older, low-top counterpart, featuring the signature colors of Laney High School. “Varsity Royal” is used across much of the nubuck construction, contrasting the blacked-out panels and fixtures that dress the toe, lace unit, and outsole. Touches of yellow, then, round out the homage to MJ’s alma mater, highlighting not only the embroidered Jumpman at the vamp but also several of the adjacent branded fixtures.
