Hiroshi Fujiwara Gives His Take On White-On-White Air Force 1s

The Fragment Design founder adds familiar touches to an all-time classic.

Hiroshi Fujiwara Gives His Take On White-On-White Air Force 1s

Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design gained notoriety in the sneaker world for its simple executions, often relying on stunner color combinations (primarily white, black, and royal blue) accented by a simple bolt logo. His potential upcoming project with Nike, which was recently revealed on Instagram, pushes the envelope of simplicity with an all-white execution.

Fujiwara’s history with the Air Force 1 dates back decades. The polka-dot joints of the mid-2000s and his input on the HTM iterations come to mind, whereas more recently he lent a hand on one of Clot’s limited edition silk-covered pairs. Now, the Fragment Design x Air Force 1 is back as a solo effort, appearing in the classic white-on-white colorway with the double-bolt logo on the heel and FRGMT carved into the midsole adjacent to the AIR badge towards the heel. No further details have been revealed as only one photo was shared on Instagram, but given the Japanese multi-hypenate’s track record with collaborations, this might be the extent of the project.

As of the publishing of this article, release information is not yet known, so stay tuned for updates.
