That’s exactly what happened with the Air Jordan 12 "Blueberry" a few years ago, a shoe that’s now one of the hottest lifestyle pick-ups on the market. Will the T500 follow a similar path? That’s a tall task, but one that New Balance could aim to take on as awareness of the 1982-born model grows through GR deliveries.
The first inline T500 to hit newbalance.com wears an elegant pigskin suede and nubuck upper, delivering great value for a $110 shoe. As far as colors go, the design hones in on a subdued “Light Arctic Grey” mix accentuated by white and blue hits before departing underfoot. There, a polyurethane midsole spices up the look with reflective properties while also enhancing comfort through a countered footbed.
