The Samba phenomenon needs no introduction. Less bulk provides more board-feel, which is why the Samba has been in circulation among skaters for decades, but adidas made sure to add a few tweaks like the upgraded T-toe with added Adituff reinforcement, a gripper cupsole, and a molded sockliner. adidas is really flexing the strength of its archive with the revival of the LWST. Inspired by the durability of the Superstar, the LWST was tuned specifically for skate, with suede uppers and contrast stitching Hardaway that unique “skate shoe” look that the youth needs in this day and age. The cult favorite is now back in original colorways (like the green pair below) and modern styles, and they’re all available now from adidas.
