The initial blueprint was to rollout the hare jordan tribute commercial via staggered, region-exclusive drops starting in early July, but it appears that’s no longer the case. The “Midnight Racer” colorway is still earmarked for July 6th, but the Vapor Green pair now gets the distinction of the first ever Luka 3 to see a public release. We don’t know the reason behind the mix-up, not that Luka fans and hoopers at large are complaining about the earlier than expected drop.
Official retailer images showcase the never-before-seen colorway in all its glory, with the titular hue appearing on the tongue, lining, heel portion, and midsole. The real intrigue takes place on the forefoot panel, where embossed detailing gets coated in a Jade Green to salmon pink gradient. Bringing that same energy underfoot, the exaggerated IsoPlate structure brings shades of purple and “Cone” (orange) to the lateral profile and outsole.
