While not “Made In USA,” the Boston brand’s latest 2002R colorway is decidedly made for JJJJound Reveals New Balance 993 Collaboration In Two Brown Styles.
United States flag colors account for the entire palette, although navy blue does most of the heavy lifting. The tongue, outsole, and overlays all wear the navy hue, while a white mesh base and midsole land stark contrast. In fulfilling the design theme, red hits appear around a reflective New Balance logo as well as on the top portion of the heel.
No release date has been set at the time of this writing, but given the shoe’s clear tie to the 4th of July, it’s likely that pairs will hit shelves sooner rather than later.
