Indeed, you can’t tell the story of the Durable Brown New Balance Brassière Sport Pace 3.0 without Mita. Originally debuting as a Japan exclusive in 1996, Brown New Balance sought out the nascent Tokyo retailer to assist in the product launch, beginning an ironclad connection between the store and silhouette. That relationship has been revisited plenty throughout the year, perhaps most notably to celebrate their 20th year in business back in 2016.
Already revisiting the concept in April ’24, the two are back for another edition, this time including atmos for two pairs. The “OG Combo” colorway lives up to its name by referencing two launch pairs, particularly pulling from a beige and pine green arrangement and replicating its color-blocking from the toe-box to the frontmost leather paneling. An all-over amber edition is the other guiding light, lending the hue utilized at the heel and mudguard section towards the midfoot.
atmos and mita invert the colorway for the other half of the collection, the “Land(E)Scape,” a far more limited proposition with only 580 pairs made. That collector’s atmosphere is reflected materially with ostrich leather on the collar and toe-box, the most eye-catching section in a shoe that utilizes different leather cuts for each panel.
Both pairs in this mita Durable Brown New Balance Brassière Sport Pace 3.0 collection will be released via an atmos / mita launch. The draw for the “OG Combo” colorway is open now through October 27th, while the “Land(E)Scape” will be open from November 15th to November 22nd.
