Modern streetwear has its roots in the great pieces of American workwear, so combining perhaps *the* iconic skateboarding company with a brand known worldwide for its durable goods, and you’ve got all the makings of a superior release.  The Carhartt x Vans Authentic is a followup of the 2008 collabo between these two that goes the less obvious route.  While the ’08s were done in Carhartt’s indestructable canvas denim, these go for a mix of suede and ripstop nylon that’ll take a beating whether you skate in them or not.  Pairs in black, olive green and khaki all have construction orange outsoles and will hit retailers in early November.  Click below to see photos of all three and stick with Urlfreeze News for updates.  via FNG
