With all the news swirling around the Air Jordan 2009, there have been a lot of images leaked as we get closer to 2009. The first pair we showed you was the Nike air jordan hat 4 retro golf bred cu9981-002 version followed up by the AIR 555088-03 JORDAN colorway of the shoe. The last pictures we showed you of the black/gold colorway didn’t quite reveal all the details of the shoe. Now we get extra detailed photos that truly show us what this follow-up to the Air Jordan XX3 Jordan the x Levis 23 501 Collection.
The new pictures reveal a mostly black colorway with tasteful, gold accents on the mid-sole and the bottom of the sole. There seems to be some very minor gold coloring as part of the patent leather on the upper, but it is still pretty hard to tell. The layered mid-panel looks like it is constructed in sections, possibly creating a nice ventilation system that could come in handy for both indoor and outdoor basketball. Another noticeable aspect of this shoe is the scarce use of the Jordan logo or Jumpman throughout the shoe, only appearing on the lower and upper part of the tongue. We also get a better look at the green crystal located by the outer-ankle, which is a nice, luxurious feature. Big ups to Fatboykickz for the updated pictures.
