In 2006 the Nike SB team created two shoes as a part of a team manager series and Girl Skateboards created this “Gucci” inspired Dunk High Premium that featured a Black, Green, and Red colorway that used a mixture of both denim and premium leathers. The other shoe that was a part of this team manager series was the notorious Nike x Diamond Supply Co. “Tiffany” Dunk Low. Due to the fact that Girl Skateboards is a part of Crailtap, who also has footwear company Lakai under their portfolio of brands, the project was nixed and only about 30 pairs of these shoes made their way outside of the Nike headquarters. Now a couple years later, Nike SB will bring the shoe online in it’s original colorway and materials as a Quickstrike release scheduled for the Holiday 2009 season. via Kenlu
