All of Skate Mental’s riders rock Nike SB kicks, and we already knew that they collaborated with the Swoosh’s skate division on one SB Dunk High for later this year. It looks like that pair will have a running (skating?) mate. The Nike SB Dunk High pictured above on the left is the latest from Todd Bratrud who designed a pair of self-titled SB Dunk Highs coupons year, as well as 2006’s epic ‘Send Helps’.
These are print ‘Brainwreck’, and feature a red, grey and white construction with a few extras. Given that he named coupons year’s joints the ‘air jordan 6 cigar’, it’s no surprise to see ‘Bratrud’ embroidered on the heel, but the standout feature has to be the insole. These feature a human brain that hopped a curb and crashed into a lightpost. Rather than any smoke or fire, the brain is cleverly emitting a question mark. These should be ready for the Holiday 2009 season, so check back with us for more info. via N-SB.org
