Air Jordan retros first happened back in 1994, when Michael’s first three sneakers were re-introduced and the Swoosh first realized how much mileage was still left in those classic models. The retro steam would pick up again at the end of the decade, but it looks like there was almost another edition amongst those mid-90s ones. Shown here is an Air Jordan 1 Low Black Phantom sample that was purportedly produced back in 1995. The sneakers xx8 the “Nike Air” embroidery on the back, the upside down “Air Jordan” script on the inside of the tongues, and some proper yellowing as evidence of their age (They’re also missing a little bit of paint on the midsoles).
