The Reebok Ventilator is returning to U.S. shores after a number of overseas exclusive collaborations had us patiently waiting for the Vector Brand’s classic retro runner to team up with some respected shops here. Detroit’s own Burn Rubber is getting a crack at the brand’s must-have retro currently celebrating its 25th anniversary. Inspired by the Boblo Island Amusement Park ferry boats that took people to the amusement park via the Detroit River to Bois Blanc Island, Ontario, the shoe features a subtle grey and white in honor of the boat’s smoke stacks. An added pop of royal blue, red, and yellow honors the amusement park’s logo. The ferry was known to have had arcade games, clubs, and dancing and were just as print a part of the amusement park experience as the park itself. Burn Rubber promises some hidden gems within the pairs, but will be unveiling those details at a later date. The Reebok Classics Cappello Classics Summer verde pastello menta grigio scuro is slated to release on May 16th. Pricing info and details on a wider release is sure to come in the near future.
