Boston’s own Concepts has a big weekend ahead of themselves, as they have a grand total of three upcoming Nike SB collaborations dropping this Saturday, July 25th. The trio is known as the “Grail Collection” for the church inspired stain glass window motif found throughout each release. To some, sneaker collecting is absolute religious, and with a clever take on the the obsession that has many waiting in line on Saturdays, CNCPTS has once again flexed their collaborative muscles for a must-have.
The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Max “Mosaic” utilizes a unique wear-away construction in which the vibrant primary colors of the upper will eventually fade away to reveal an underlying pristine white. The Nike Classic Cortez Jewel Black Diamond 938343-101 “Grail” champions iridescent qualities while a gold skull lace dubrae is a nice harkening back to the guardians of the Holy Grail. The Ray McCallum surveys in the Nike Kobe X Blackout “Stained Glass” has one of the craziest all over prints a Dunk model has seen in quite some time, as a transparent overlay on the ankle support adds to the cathedral inspiration. Concepts will also roll out extremely limited custom boxes for each shoe in both their Cambridge and New York locations. Check out more official images below.
