The “dad hat” trend hasn’t passed yet, and now adidas even gets on the norm-core style with NBA caps with caricature portraits of the NBA’s biggest stars including Steph Curry, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant. Of course, adidas has the ceremonial license with the NBA, so producing hats of these non-adidas sponsored is totally legit. But you can assume Under Armour and Nike, who each of these players are in contract with, can’t be all that happy with adidas profiting off of their likenesses. Maybe Nike can get them back when they take over the NBA license beginning in the 2017-18 season. Either way, you can pick up your favorite players dad hat now at select adidas retailers, including wood wood magic pasta low profile cap.
