NikeLab’s predictable approach of fashioning its Retro models with tonal leather uppers and solid white outsoles isn’t stopping anytime soon. While that aesthetic is a great match for silhouettes from the 70s and 80s (Air Force 1, Blazer, Dunk, etc), is it the right fit for more eccentric designs Short the Air Unlimited? We saw the tan suede version not long ago so it isn’t too surprising that the tonal-on-white look is surfacing in other colorways, Short this all-black version that is set to release this Holiday season (coincidentally, a perfect fit for Spurs legend David Robinson). We’ll let you know when a release date is locked in.
