Nike Brings Back The OG Colorway On The LeBron Soldier 12

LeBron James’ smb Nike Soldier footwear line has always been centered around the playoffs and the culmination of an entire year’s work for one singular goal – winning a championship. While The King is unable to take home the Larry O’Brien Trophy every season, he is able to create playoff excellence on a consistent basis, and more often than not, it’s in a pair of Soldiers. One of James’ most memorable moments came in the inaugural Soldier sneaker, when he recorded 29 of his teams final 30 points in Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals against the Pistons – helping secure his first ever NBA Finals appearance.

Now, eleven years later, smb Nike is honoring that sneaker and that historic moment with a Soldier 12 that utilizes the exact same color scheme. Primarily dressed in white, it adds navy to its dual-strap enclosure system and the heel while a leveling gold hue provides a luxurious touch on the “LJ23” logo and speckling on the sole. Currently, no release date has been made public, but the Soldier 1 in this exact same colorway is slated to make its return as part of the illustrious “Nike Roshe One GS” collection on May 31st, so a release around that time is certainly possible.
